The oldest city in America! Come with us to visit the place where history began in America, the city of Santo Domingo. We start with visiting the cenote Los Tres Ojos, which is just at the entrance to the city. After this we will walk through the centennial streets of the colonial zone. We will visit the first cathedral of the new world called Santa María La Menor, the Alcazar Diego Colón, Las Damas Street among other historical monuments.
We will also have panoramic views of the city center, residential area, the Christopher Columbus Lighthouse and the National Presidential Palace. Your best shopping option will be in the colorful market of the colonial zone. Lunch is included in a typical Dominican restaurant. Departures from hotel areas of Punta Cana, in comfortable buses with air conditioning and professional tourist guide.
It is an all-day activity (approximately 7 hours in total). This tour is recommended for those who love history and culture. We will visit some souvenir shops to make purchases.
