¿What to Expect?
The tour begins by passing slowly through a village so you can appreciate daily life. We arrive at our first ranch where guests have the opportunity for a short horseback ride to take photos on the hills. Right next to it is the Cigar Shop where you can see how Dominican tobacco is produced and made.
Following our route, we enter the sugar cane fields and head to visit the city of Higuey, where the main attraction is the Basilica de La Altagracia. Here, guests can get off and enter the church to take beautiful photos. We then proceed to the Public Market of agricultural products, where you can walk around, see local commerce, and immerse yourself in the local culture After the market, we take the route to the Eastern Mountain Range area of Anamuya, to our typical ranch for a delicious Dominican lunch. After lunch, you can walk to the Anamuya creek to take beautiful photos.
Supreme Safari Tour
We continue the journey through the mountain to visit a typical Dominican house where you will meet the family and see the plantations of coffee, cocoa, vanilla plants, cinnamon, fruit trees, among others. Here, you can also taste coffee, chocolate, and Mama Juana.
We leave and pass through some small villages, stopping in front of a school to provide information about education in the Dominican Republic (entry into the classroom is not allowed without prior permission).
We end our excursion by visiting Macao Beach for a dip (following the guide’s instructions) and taking spectacular photos.
